About Scholarships

Can I apply for a scholarship to study my Master’s Degree with EADIC?

At the moment, EADIC has agreements with two institutions that support with a scholarship program all professionals who want to continue their postgraduate studies: OIJ Scholarships and FIEE Scholarships.

What percentage do these scholarships cover?

Currently, we do not offer full scholarships. However, as an EADIC student you can get a scholarship percentage ranging from 20% to 60% of the total tuition fee.

Are scholarships awarded to all applicants?

No. The number of scholarships in each edition is limited. Likewise, the awarding of scholarships is at the discretion of the Scholarship Committee, which manages the process based on well-argued applications, supported by meritorious academic records and, of course, the economic and financial needs of the applicants.

What are the requirements to apply for a scholarship?

To be a beneficiary of the scholarship, you must have completed the admission process and have been admitted to the study program, i.e., you must have completed the steps for admission to the Master’s program of your interest.

If I have previously received a scholarship from EADIC, can I apply for another scholarship?

EADIC has more agreements and collaborations to obtain scholarships. Consult your advisor for more information. If you wish to apply for a scholarship offered by the same institution that granted you a scholarship in the past, a minimum of 12 months must have passed since the end of the last scholarship program in order for you to be accepted.

What fees must I pay if I get a scholarship?

The amount you must pay will depend on the percentage covered by the scholarship, and this is the only fee you must pay during your year of study. If you require a physical diploma, a Hague Apostille or other additional certifications, you must assume the additional costs involved.

Can I finance the non-scholarship amount of my Master’s degree?

If you require financial aid for the non-scholarship amount of the Master’s program, you must request it from your admissions counselor in order to carry out a financial study. Based on this information, we will indicate the available options.

Degrees and certificates

Are your degrees recognized in my country?

Our degrees have international projection, and are ideal to boost your professional career. However, we cannot guarantee their recognition outside Europe.
You can apply for the Hague Apostille, which allows you to legalize public documents issued in another country belonging to the Hague Convention, and gives your degree international recognition. In this process, we accompany our students to process the apostille if required.

What must be done to go through the Hague Apostille process?

The single legalization, or Hague Apostille, consists of placing an Apostille or annotation on a public document, or an extension thereof, which certifies the authenticity of the signature of the documents issued in a country that is part of the XII Hague Convention of October 5, 1961. This convention abolishes the requirement of legalization of foreign public documents to be effective in another country that is a signatory to the agreement.

How do I validate my degree with the apostille?

In order to obtain the Hague Apostille, some documents must be sent, available to the citizens in their corresponding foreign affairs delegations.
The cost of this procedure must be covered by you if you request it, but we offer to do it on your behalf. Please contact the training team for more information.

What is the difference between a diploma and an official diploma?

  • Official degrees are a prerequisite for employment in the civil service. In general, companies do not take into account whether the degree is official or their own when hiring a professional, but rather the prestige of the program and whether it provides the student with the knowledge and skills required by the profile they are looking for.
  • The prestige of a master’s degree depends to a large extent on the work of this program in its sector and, above all, on the recommendations of former students and teachers who teach it. To this end, it is assessed whether it incorporates reference professors, what students from previous editions say about it, what is the degree of knowledge and recognition of the program in the sector.
  • The official degree allows direct access to a doctorate, while a degree of its own does not.
  • In the European Higher Education Area (EHEA), official master’s degrees are recognized in all universities. The recognition of degrees issued in Spain, both in relation to official master’s degrees as well as in relation to individual degrees, will depend on the legislation of each State.
  • Official master’s degrees are required to access jobs advertised by public administrations. However, it is up to each call for applications and the institution that makes it to establish the application requirements. In the case of calls for applications from private institutions or companies, or from third countries, the institution or company will establish in the call for applications whether or not it is open to its own masters. Especially in the private sector, but also internationally, many calls for applications include both types of Master’s degrees.
  • The teaching of official master’s degrees is mainly carried out by professors from the university that awards the degree. In contrast, in the case of the official master’s degrees, the teaching team is usually made up of professors from other universities or professionals working in the sector.
  • Official degrees award points in competitive examinations or public administration competitions: degree, bachelor’s degree, master’s degree, doctorate. A degree may award points as Continuing Education, but it will never count for more than an official degree.

Can the degrees be homologated or validated?

The validation or recognition of degrees must be validated directly with the regulatory body, since the regulations of each country are completely different. Regarding the internal recognition processes of each country, we cannot provide information, since each regulatory body exercises this function.
However, remember that these are our own qualifications, which are registered by apostille, and have EUROPEAN validity, so they are accepted and recognized by the main companies in the sector worldwide.

What is the difference between a Specific Title and an Official Title?

• Offical Titles are generally a requisite to work on public offices. In most provate companies it is not important if your title is Specific or Official when applying for a job, but only how much recognition foes the title or the university has, and that it certifies the professional has the knowledge and abilities to fulfill the resposibilities of the position.

• The relevance of a Master’s depends greatly on the work it develops in the industry and, above all, the reviews it gets from alumni and teachers. This reffers to landmark teachers giving classes, what do alumni say, the knowledge it apports and its recognition on the industry.

• An Official Title can be used to cover the requirements for a Ph.D., while a Specific Title can not.

• In the European Higher Education Area (EHEA), Official Titles are valid in all Universities. The validity of titles from Spain, for both Official and Specific titles depens on the laws of each country.

• Official Masters are a requirement to apply for jobs in public offices. However, each job offering and institution can stablish different requirements for application. In the case of private companies and institutions, or for applications abroad, the company/institution can decide to accept Specific Titles. Specially in the private sector, but also generally in international offers, many accept both kinds of title.

• Teaching in Official Titles is generally done by teachers coming from the Unversity offering the title. In the case of Specific programs, on the other hand, tend to use a team of teachers from other universities or professionals currently working on the field.

• Official Titles give extra points when opposing or participating in public sector job offers (Degree, University Degree, Master, Ph.D.). An Specific Title will give points as continued education, but never with the same weight of an Official Title.

Can Specific Titles be validated or standardized?

Validation or recognition (standardization) of titles must be confirmed directly with the regulatory body of each country, given this process is different in each country. We do not have information regarding the specific process for each countrym since each of this bodies defines its own process.
However, remember we give a Specific Title, that can be registered with the Apostille, and has validity on the EUROPEAN region, which also gives them recognition and acceptance in the most important companies of the industry worldwide.
